I'm not sure what site you mean for survey monster. I've used Surveymonkey.com, but don't know of survey monster. I agree, Kindergarten would rather ask questions with a clipboard and struggle to write the response than do it on the computer. However, first grade would opt for the computer.

Hi. We use the dictionary, weather.com and pbskids. I enjoyed your conference and I am going to try some of the sites you mentioned. I have to tell you, I tried the survey monster and they didn't like it. They like going around with a clipboard asking everyone the questions. :>) I will keep checking the sites and letting you know how they like them.
I use the internet to get clipart and information for the classroom. Since we use Houghton Mifflin, there is a great website that we use that has a lot of useful information for monolingual classrooms and classrooms with ELLs. The site is www.smbsd.org. I'm not sure if you have it already but it if great!
